The Line is a synchronous typed line between two people: both of you see typing as it happens, there is no send button, and no conversation history is kept. If something is not working, or someone is behaving badly, this page says what to do.
You can report another account from inside the app: while a line is ringing in, while a line is live, and from the menu beside anyone you have looked up. Choose a reason, add anything you want to say in your own words, and send it.
Blocking and reporting are separate. You can block without reporting, report without blocking, or do both at once from the report screen.
Reports are reviewed by a person and acted on where our Terms of Use have been broken, up to and including removing the reported account. Because The Line keeps no transcript, a report never contains what either of you typed.
Block from the menu beside their name, or from the notice after you decline a line. A blocked account cannot ring you and cannot place a line to you at all. You can see and undo your blocks in Account.
Incoming lines arrive as a notification. If they are not reaching you, check that notifications are allowed for The Line in your device settings, and that "silence incoming lines" is off in Account.
Account → delete account, inside the app. It removes your directory record, your handle, your contact-discovery entry, your push tokens and your block list. See deleting your account for details.
